The Worlds Greatest Job

Four months ago we spotted an opportunity that felt like it was written for us—Jayco’s “Greatest Job in the World.” The role: to live, travel and create content on the road, capturing the magic of life in a Jayco RV.

We poured our hearts into the application—filming a video that shared our love for travel and storytelling—and waited. Weeks later we got the call: we’d made the shortlist. After interviews and a few nail-biting weeks, the email finally came through: we’d been chosen.

Now the real adventure begins. Over the coming months we’ll be exploring Australia in a Jayco RV, sharing cinematic travel films, behind-the-scenes moments and all the unexpected magic of life on the road.

About the Job

Jayco created the “Greatest Job in the World” to showcase the freedom and excitement of RV travel.
Our role is to:

  • Travel across Australia in a Jayco RV.

  • Capture our journey through video, photography and storytelling.

  • Share the experience across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube to inspire other travellers.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to combine what we love—creating content and exploring new places—while living the true spirit of the open road.

Meet the Team

We’re Hannah and Sam—a creative duo driven by a passion for storytelling through powerful visuals.
Hannah combines her background as a professional dancer and lifestyle model with a natural authenticity and eye for movement, bringing stories to life with grace and energy. Sam, a skilled videographer and editor blends technical expertise with creative vision to turn ideas into stunning cinematic content. Together, we balance artistry and precision to craft work that inspires, engages, and leaves a lasting impression.

FAQs

  • We’re setting off from Melbourne, driving the full East Coast of Australia all the way to the tip of Cape York Peninsula. Our route includes some iconic stops in Sydney, Byron Bay, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Island (K’gari), the Whitsundays, Cairns, Cape Tribulation just to name a few! From there we’ll head back south, crossing to Adelaide, exploring Kangaroo Island, and finishing with a lap around Tasmania, showcasing some of Australia’s most breathtaking coastal and outback landscapes.

  • The adventure will run for 12 months from 10th October 2025 to 31st September 2026, covering approximately 10,000 kilometres!

  • We’re travelling in a Jayco Destiny motorhome built on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis. It sleeps 2 and comes fully equipped with a 2-burner cooktop and grill, full size 188L fridge, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet and a solar power system for off-grid travel - all powered by a 2.0 L turbo-diesel engine with 9-speed automatic transmission.

  • We’re using a Sony A7C II camera, Sony 24-70mm, Sony GM2 11mm F1.8 and Sony 35mm F1.4 lenses, DJI Mini Pro 5 drone, DJI Osmo Pocket 3, DJI Nano, DJI Action 4 and iPhone 17 to capture all our footage!
